READING, UK, and MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 29, 2001 - Siroyan, the SIP3 processor company targeting the convergence market, today announced a licensing agreement with Verisity, Ltd. (Nasdaq: VRST), a leading provider of functional verification automation tools. Under the terms of the agreement, Siroyan will utilize the Specman EliteTM testbench automation tools for the verification of its Scalable Integrated Processor. Siroyan selected Specman Elite because of its ability to speed development of the verification environment whilst enabling high design quality.

The company will deliver the product as a soft core, codenamed Rubicon, which eliminates many of the process problems associated with the conventional hardcore approach.
